Overall Rating: 2 stars
Brief Summary of the Storyline: Nina is afraid of pretty much everything: trains, planes, heights, and even elevators. She moves to Brooklyn for Nursing school to stay with her brother’s friend. He has two other roommates that live there too, Tarah and Jake. It’s Jake that helps her get through all her fears.
Jake is not what he is perceived to be. His exterior is filled with tattoos and piercings but he’s really a super smart engineer with a heart of gold. He is instantly sweet on Nina and wants to do everything to help her get over her issues.
Yes super sweet….until the twist drops.
Overall Opinion: I was actually liking this book. But then at the 60% mark, Part 2 started. I think they should have just finished up part 1 as the whole book. The whole pace and flow of the book changed with part 2.
POV: Part 1 is Nina and Part 2 is Jake.
Overall Pace of Story: Slow and even slower in part 2
H rating: Part 1 – 4
h rating: Part 1 – 3
Just because it bothered me: All of part 2
Sadness level: Just a bit.
Descriptive sex: I want to say yes but the book dragged for me so much that I can’t even remember.
Closure: I don’t know. At about 77% I put the book down. I tried to continue but then went and read another book and I can’t seem to want to pick this back up again.
